Happy Halloween!

Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I hope you are all having a delightful one!  Jim and I hosted a costume party this weekend in celebration.  We had a great turn out and some amazing costumes.

Is it Halloween yet?  I LOVE Halloween.  It is my F-A-V-O-R-I-T-E holiday.  Jim finally let me put up some decorations.  We went to the Seaside farmers market this weekend to pick up some pumpkins.  This is the end result.  Can't wait for some cute, costumed trick-or-treaters!!!

Laboring away this Labor day

We've been stuck inside for most of the weekend due to TS Lee, but we've been putting our time to good use.  I've finally finished some sewing projects I've been putting off for awhile and got a jump start on Christmas gifts.

Jim has been working on finishing some of his garage projects and reorganizing.  We got a little stir crazy, so we made a trip to our local home improvement store and picked up some new plants.  These will hopefully bring in some more humming birds.

Happy Labor Day and good luck to all who are weathering this tropical storm.  We've only had a few branches down...so far.

Summer Love

Jim and I are trying to make the most of what's left of summer by spending as much time as we can on the water.
So we spent our day off of shell island.

Feeling Thankful!

Counting my lucky stars.  On this day 7 years ago, I met the most wonderful man in the world.  My husband.

Summer Fun

Saturday we loaded up the boat again and headed over to Port St. Joe for another scalloping trip.  We ended up getting our 8 gallons in the first hour out.

We spent the rest of our day collecting blue crabs and conchs!  We made some delicious conch fritters for Schulz Sunday Supper.

We also have these super cute late bloomers in one of our bird houses :o)

Hope everyone is enjoying what's left of summer!

All Dressed Up

We finally got some friends (very good friends :-D) to come by and help us bring our table into the house.  It looks sooooo good in the dining room.  I still can't get over how pretty the wood is and how wonderful it smells. Now all we need are some chairs!
