Happy December!

Am I the only person who can't believe that it is already December?  This year has flown by!  We went to our property in Fountain last weekend and cut down a "Christmas" tree.  It's actually a ~10ft slash pine, but we like to mix things up.  Besides, who doesn't enjoy a Florida Christmas tree.  We have it all decorated and it is beginning to feel like Christmas at the Keith house.

We are also in the middle of preparations for The 2nd Annual Keith Pig Cooking Party.  Which is our annual pig roast.  It will be happening next weekend.  We have quite the crowd coming this year.  It should be a fun time.

We have a healthy growth of winter crops in the garden.  We have been enjoying fresh collards, beets, romaine lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, sage, onions and broccoli.

Jim has also just finished his first batch of home brew wine:  Wild Raspberry Nightmare.

More updates coming soon :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my wonderful husband with whom I share an amazing, dynamic and intense relationship filled with daily love and laughter.

I am thankful for a loving family who are always there for me when I need them.

I am thankful for my in-laws who are always so generous with their love and support.

I am thankful for my fur babies who make me laugh every day and are always there to snuggle!

I am thankful for my wonderful friends.  Friends really are the family we choose!

I am thankful for my health.

I am thankful that I live in a country that allows me and others to live free, love anyone I chose, make my own decisions and have the time to understand what this means and truly be thankful!

Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving!

All Hallows Eve and Fantasy Adventures

The Keith's attended Fantasy Fest this past weekend with one of our college friends.  We spent 4 days in our favorite place, Key West.  We had a great time and now have some very entertaining stories.  Although we are missing the warm weather.  We also celebrated Halloween and Dia de los Muertos.  Can't wait till next year.

Fall in the Mountians

We took a quick trip to North Carolina to indulge in all of the fall happenings.  We enjoyed the chilly fall weather, farmers markets, apples, hayrides, fiber mill,  haunted pumpkin patches and family.  We had a wonderful time!
